Lorna qualified as a Chartered Account at Deloitte & Touche. After a brief period of work and travel in London, she joined Nedcor Investment Bank (NIB) in 1998 in the Group Finance Division.

Lorna moved to Nedbank Retail in 2001, where she was responsible for a varied portfolio including the Nedbank Group Schemes, Client Retention and Project Management Units. Before leaving the Group in November 2004
to have a baby, she was also responsible for the project
management of various restructuring initiatives throughout
the Nedbank Group.

Lorna joined Halls in January 2006 and established a shared
services function for start-up entities in the Halls Investments
portfolio.
