Ethel Shongwe

Ethel holds a BPed Honours degree and a Secondary Teacher's diploma.

After lecturing in Durban, she relocated to Mpumalanga to take up a lecturing post at Elijah Mango College of Education.

In the Lowveld Ethel made the transition into the business world and established herself in fashion design and interior decoration. Her natural love of people led to her entering the tourism industry with the establishment of a lodge and conference facility just outside Nelspruit.

With education remaining a calling, Ethel also established
a training academy in the region, offering SETA accredited
skills development programmes. Ethel has served as a board
member in various parastatal and private Boards.
